Wax wineskins are speciallys
for wine. The required special cares. This skin can be used for wine, cyder or
any other 30% proof alcoholic drink. If you would like to use a wineskin for
soft drinks or strong liqueurs it is best to use our "three ZZZ" latex
wineskins.
1.- Remove the paper which covers the opening.
2.- Heat the wineskin either in the sun.
3.- Rub the seam well.
4.- Inflate the wineskin by blowing gently through the nozzle. DO NOT OVERSO IT.
If this causes difficulty try heating the shin again.
5.- Fill with a glass of water to moisten the seam. DO NOT WORRY if some drops
of water leak at the beginning. This will happen until the seams tightens and
becomes totally sealed.
6.- Put in the wine and leave place SIDEWARDS for 5 to 6 days so that the wine
touches the whole interior.
7.- Pour away this first lot of wine and now it is ready for the wine which is
eventually to be drunk. For the first few days it is best to change the wine
frequently. Make sure that the inner sides of the skin to not touch during these
first days.
ENJOY
IT !!!
Remember:
If you follow this advise, your wineskin will last for a long time. If the
wineskin is not to be used for some time, it is best to deflate it completely
and cover the nozzle with a piece of cloth or paper so that the cobbler's wax
doesn't mark the theread of the nozzle. It is best to store flat to prevent the
wax from dripping. The next time it is to be used follow the inflating procedure
with the same care as the first time.
